Good Morning to all of my readers out there! How is it going? I wanted to take a minute to say HELLO and recap on the last 2 months of my life!
Where do I even start? MOMENTUM - INSANE MOMENTUM:
My team has literally quadrupled over the last 2 months! We have changed a total of 293 lives since the beginning of April! INSANE RIGHT? I cannot even put into words to describe the gratitude I have to see that I have had a hand in helping people say yes to a healthier them and being able to coach them through their good and bad days, plateaus and major weight loss jumps and encourage them to strive every single day to be better than they were yesterday! - We should only be in competition with the person we were yesterday! We should look at our reflection and be proud of the changes that are happening because we have been dedicated to become more than we were the day prior!
HOME SCHOOL MOMMA:
Not only is business growing, but my daughter Alexa was unable to go back to school this year. Instead of giving her a break and starting the summer early, I have been intentional about making sure she is still, learning during these times. No, she is not doing school work for 8 hour straight, but she is going into 5th grade so their fractions and double digit multiplication and division problems have been "fun" to say the least! :-) I have learned to be more grateful for the school teachers that have the hearts that they do and patience every single day to help a classroom of 20 children with that deer in the headlights look and they want to teach them and do it with a smile on their face. Alexa is learning and it is a great feeling to see her pull her phone out to check her work and see that after about 15-20 problems, she got the hang of it and knows what to do with confidence. Stay at home momma:
Now we move onto the baby of the bunch! My Keilani girl! She is 2 years old now and is as stubborn as they come. I call her my sour patch kid, FIRST SHE IS SOUR - THEN SHE IS SWEET! It is the absolute truth! She will throw a fit like nobody has seen before and then come over and hug you in the next minute and kiss your cheek. LORD HELP ME!! She is definitely a mix of her mother and her father and there is no doubt on my mind that she will have a leadership role someday because she is BOSSY! lol
Alexa being home has helped TREMENDOUSLY during this time and I cannot be more grateful and think sometimes during the most unfortunate of events, everything has a reason and a purpose. How a person reacts when tragedy hits shows a lot about their character! WEDDING BELLS RINGING!: EEEEKKKKK!? What was that?
A wedding on top of this crazy?
YES, you did hear that right!
I am planning my wedding and it is only 4 short months away! I remember when we started planning and I was scrambling to get decorations, etc and said I HAVE 2 YEARS - that is PLENTY of time! Then the COVID hit and I did not know whether the show would go on or not, as restrictions lifted I went into full panic mode and started questioning almost everything about my life, EVERYTHING! So, I prayed about it because every time I start to lose focus I forget to ask for guidance! The Lord has a plan for my life, he placed this company into my life when I needed it the most, he helped me to stick with it so I would experience the massive amount of growth when we did, he would calm the raging storm in my mind and heart if I would just ask him for guidance! He has always been there, even when I forget to SEE HIM! That is why faith is SO IMPORTANT - it is believing and seeing what is not visible to the naked eye! Needless to say I had a couple of days and thought deep and hard and had a conversation with my future husband and realized I am not making a mistake, this is going to be one of the best days of my life! My mother will not be there to place the veil in my hair, but she will be there in spirit and even though it does not come close to actually having her there in person, Aaron has to experience this day without his grandmother there too. We have to lean on one another for strength and get through the day together!
Wanted to fill you in and tell you all, I am sorry for my absence.
It is not for no reason, I have been so so busy and I appreciate those of you that have reached out to me!
I will make it a point to get on here and share more often, because this is important to me and blogging and sharing inspiration in as many ways as I can to EMPOWER the next person to make changes in their lives for the good! That is where I got my team name #TeamEmpower we are empowering this world and the loved ones around us and I cannot see what is in store for the next year of or lives!
