This weekend I had the opportunity to market with people face to face at Merle Hay Mall at a vendor show. This was the #first time that I have ever done something like this. I am not a shy person by all means - but, this was so challenging. Someone walking up to me for information is a totally different animal than me approaching strangers about health and wellness. The #whiteelephant in the room is the fact that this world is facing a severe #epidemic when it comes to obesity. Looking around in public was so #eyeopening - the majority of people that walked past our booth could have used our system. I also realized that I have to get out of my comfort zone in order to REALLY grow - just like that quote, nothing GOOD grows INSIDE of a comfort zone.
I am thankful for the opportunity that my team and I had to be a part of the vendor show. We were able to meet new people and make new relationships with some of the vendors that were in the show as well. I learned how to be more confident when chatting with people in person about their goals and how we can help the be successful with the #health and #wellness #challenges that they are facing. My team has made me so #proud. They are getting out of their comfort zone and doing it afraid which has been awesome to watch unfold in front of my face.
If you have a small business and have a chance to do a vendor show, go for it - try it! What do you have to lose? It gives you a chance to reach people you did not know before.
