Alexa Lynn

Alexa Lynn. My first born. 08/03/2010 - the day my world REALLY changed FOREVER. - 9 years ago, holy guacamole!! Softball Player. Force #33. Momma's Best Friend.

This little girl has a heart of gold. She is a firecracker and growing into the young woman that I knew she would be, sometimes I have to ask the Lord for some extra guidance with her because she is growing too fast and growing up to be wise beyond her words. You see, Alexa had a rough life for awhile. Her father has been in and out of her life for the past 9 years and I just support the decisions she makes when it comes to him, because I love her and hope that she looks back someday and appreciates that I allowed her to have a voice, I mean - she is a 4th grader and her voice gets more bold as she grows. She is so smart and when she struggles at something, she digs deep and tries harder - her determination for success fires me up and motivates me sometimes and she doesn't even realize it. She is a little softball star! She is much more coordinated than I ever was at the sport and her potential flows out of her when she steps on that field, currently she has switched her focus to learn pitching, wish us luck! She is the best big sister that a girl can ask for and she helps her momma immensely - when I have to record a live or take a call or close the month out strong...she sees my fight and I hope I give her the strength to know she can do anything and everything she ever wants if she sets her mind to it.

To my softball lovin', red hair havin', scrunchy wearin', arctic cup drinkin', divalious girl - your momma loves you more than words can ever describe. You made me grow up and you have been by my side rooting for me as hard as I route for you and I love you for that! Thanks for being my mother hen when I am sick and keeping me in check when my outfit doesn't match! MUAH!
